- Garment has enough room for freedom of movement.
- Crosswise grain should be parallel to the floor at the bust and hip.
- Center back, front, and side seams should be perpendicular to floor.
- Shoulder seams in should lie in the center of the shoulder.
- Top of set-in sleeve is at shoulder bone.
- Darts point to the fullest part of the body bulge.
- Grain in sleeve is not distorted, but hangs straight from the shoulder bone.
- Garment stays in place when you wear it.
